About the presenters:
Marsha Laine Dungog is an international tax and estate planning partner at Withers based in San Francisco, California.
Marsha has over 25 years of experience advising HNW individuals, family office, founders and funds with international tax risks to address, providing cross-border tax solutions that streamline everyday affairs and succession planning for globally mobile families, expanding multinational operations, and US expats worldwide.
Admitted to practice law in various jurisdictions in the United States, Canada, and as a registered foreign lawyer in the UK and Australia, Marsha leads the firm’s cross-border US-Canada global practice, and the US-Australia affiliation with the Bentleys Network.
Her practice includes inbound and outbound tax planning for businesses, exit strategies and international tax reporting for C-suite executives, global employees and retirees relocating to the United States or abroad.
David Laanemaa is an experienced business services director; David has local and international experience on tax and cross-border matters.
As a private clients and tax specialist with a focus on cross border matters between Australia and the United States of America. David specialises in providing individuals, professionals and business groups with business and tax driven solutions on cross-border and local matters.
Apart from a primarily tax and accounting background, David has spent time in investment banking and wealth management, in particular superannuation before making cross border his specialty. David’s international clients reside in the USA, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and the UK.
