Sonia Mascolo

Throughout her career, Sonia has practiced as a taxation lawyer in a large Adelaide law firm, a tax accountant with a ‘Big 4’ and as a tax technical specialist with the Australian Taxation Office. From this diverse range of experience, Sonia can approach a tax matter holistically and pragmatically to give her clients a complete solution.

Sonia has supported various entities with specialist advice as to tax-effective structures and restructures, cross-border transactions, capital management plans, estate and succession planning as well as working with government and not for profit bodies.

Sonia has presented many technical presentations for the Tax Institute providing thought leadership and peer to peer expertise. As a member of the Tax Institute’s Professional Development Committee for several years, Sonia was committed to ensuring the tax profession had cutting edge and topical seminars and material.
