Robin has over 25 years accounting experience, initially in a ‘large’ Tasmanian accounting firm (which subsequently merged into one of the ‘big four’ firms), and later in industry as a group accountant, then group company secretary of a local shipbuilder. Robin then accepted an approach to join Kaizen Business Services as an equity participant.
On 1 July 2013, Kaizen Business Services merged with Anning and Associates to become Bentleys Tasmania, which is one of the most technologically advanced accounting and business advisory firms in the country.
As a passionate proponent of quality technology within the accounting industry, particularly cloud-based solutions, and has demonstrated that the paperless office is not a myth but can be a reality. Robin is an inaugural member of the Xero Partners Advisory Council, a national body dedicated to development and implementation of Xero cloud products, and the strategic direction of Xero cloud solutions.
Robin is a dynamic, results-orientated leader with a strong track record; he utilises keen analysis and insights and a team approach to drive organisational improvement and implement best practices. Robin has superior interpersonal skills and is capable of resolving multiple complex issues, motivating staff to peak performance. He builds enduring relationships with stakeholders.
