Nick Schafer is an Associate Director in Bentleys Queensland’s Business Advisory team, providing business and tax advisory services to privately owned businesses, family groups and individuals.

Nick has extensive experience advising private clients across a broad range of business and taxation matters, including structuring, succession planning, CFO advisory and complex tax issues. He works closely with business owners and family groups throughout different stages of the business lifecycle, helping them navigate complexity, make informed decisions and achieve their long term objectives.

Nick has advised privately owned businesses and family groups on complex tax matters, with particular experience navigating Division 7A and trust income issues and developing practical solutions that balance technical requirements with commercial outcomes. He has also led CFO advisory engagements, helping businesses strengthen their financial visibility, reporting and decision making, and has a strong track record of developing and mentoring team members throughout his career.
