Mark Hamilton
Partner, Bentleys Newcastle
My approach is to look after all clients – large and small – with the same level of importance. This means taking the time to understand their concerns and investing the time and resourcefulness necessary to find the best solution for their needs.
Mark’s core service area is business services. He has experience in a range of industries including manufacturing small and large scale, retail, restaurants, wholesaling to franchisees, legal services, aged care services, medical services and pawnbrokers. As a business advisory professional, Mark provides assistance to clients on a range of levels, ranging from preparing their tax returns to acting on an advisory board.
Over the years Mark has developed close working relationships with his clients and has taken an active role in their businesses as an advisor. He tailors his advice to the needs of each business that he works with, and applies his expertise to assist them with decision making. His approach is to take the options for a decision, streamline it into a logical set of arguments for and against each case, research these and come up with a conclusion that best fits the client. In his experience, Mark finds that more often, questions and challenges for businesses are beyond just financial outcomes and are more family or emotional decisions, and this is where his comprehensive understanding of his clients is of greatest benefit.
Mark is also experienced in advisory around Self Managed Superannuation Funds and securing the financial future for clients. He works together with Financial Planners and other professionals to enable clients to prosper with their investments or protect their existing investments.
The Bentleys crew are like extra team members in our small business. Complex problems are explained in terms that we can understand, and nothing is too much trouble.
