Jodi Lupton is a Partner in the Business Services division, and an SMSF Specialist at Bentleys Queensland.

Jodi is an authorised representative of Bentleys (QLD) Advisory Pty Ltd to provide strategy advice. Over her career, Jodi has cemented her place as a key member of the Bentleys business advisory team and is committed to delivering the best results for her clients.

She is a CA Self-Managed Superannuation Fund (SMSF) Specialist, Accredited Aged Care Professional and Justice of the Peace.

Her specialist advisory includes estate and succession planning, family office charters, asset protection, retirement strategies, structuring advice; as well as the broad range of areas relevant to Self-Managed Superannuation Funds such as insurance, important considerations for SMSF Trustees, gearing rules and solutions, and transfer of business premises into an SMSF.

Jodi’s expertise spans multiple sectors, including:

• Property sector: Jodi has a depth of experience in all tax areas including GST, income tax and state taxes. She also has first- hand knowledge of accounting issues for property and construction operators, particularly property developers, investors and construction firms, and has undertaken numerous land development feasibility analysis assignments and property feasibility analysis and finance applications .
• Aged Care: Jodi heads up the Bentleys Consumer Advisory Services in the Aged Care space and provides specialist advice on funding impacts for aged care consumers and the nuances of income and asset testing in aged care.
• Family Businesses: Jodi develops close relationships with her clients as their family business advisor, with particular focus on structuring advice for business and asset ownership; asset protection, wealth management and estate planning for family groups; retirement strategies including capital gains, concession relief and pension/lump sum superannuation options; and private tax ruling applications regarding Estate Planning tax concessions.

Jodi regularly presents to business owners and investors on superannuation and estate planning matters. She is able to provide peace of mind and a pathway forward for families as they deal with these sensitive matters.
