Hamish is the Director of Finance and Lending with Bentleys Finance. Since starting Bentleys Finance over 8 years ago, Hamish remains committed to helping clients navigate lending and financial markets to provide solutions that help them get where they want to be. Hamish understands that every client’s business and personal goals are unique, and he enjoys assisting his clients through every step of the process.

Coming from a family business, and in his own dealings with Bentleys Finance, Hamish intrinsically understands the unique complexities of running a SME. Hamish prides himself on understanding small business needs and celebrating every win along the way- a core value of the whole Bentleys Finance team.

Hamish has had over 10 years of experience working with the National Australia Bank, Bank of Queensland, and Scottish Pacific. Hamish’s experience and strong network of connections in the banking industry mean that he provides unique insight for his clients.

Hamish holds a Bachelor of Business (Agribusiness), a Graduate Diploma in Finance and Lending, a CERT IV in Mortgage Broking and is a member of the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA). Hamish is also a proud AFG Broker, which is the largest aggregation of Brokers within Australia.

Hamish’s commitment to delivering the best solutions to Bentleys’ clients is demonstrated through the continued success of Bentleys Finance (Queensland). In 2022, the team were once again awarded the National Australian Finance Group Limited (AFG) Commercial Broker Group Award.

In 2021, Hamish took home the title of National Commercial Broker of the Year the at the Australian Finance Group Limited (AFG) 2021 National Awards and the team were announced winners in the QLD, NT & NTH NSW Best Broker Commercial Loans category. These achievements build on the team’s strong track record of AFG award wins at both national and state level since 2015.
