Glenn Russell

Glenn Russell is a Tax Advisory Partner with 30 years’ experience advising mid-market, publicly listed and large multinational businesses, including over 20 years as a Tax Advisory Partner at an international Big 4 firm. A Fellow Chartered Accountant and practising solicitor in Queensland, he brings both technical depth and commercial judgement to complex tax matters.

His experience spans domestic and international structuring, funding and thin capitalisation, tax consolidation, and all aspects of tax compliance, with particular expertise in tax audits and investigations, including dispute resolution with both Federal and State tax regulators. Beyond compliance and dispute work, Glenn has extensive experience helping clients establish tax governance frameworks, internal controls and risk management, and regularly advises Audit and Risk Committees and Boards directly on tax risk and best practice.

Glenn’s advisory work is complemented by an active role in governance more broadly. He is Chairman of Kedron Wavell Limited, a board member of the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital Foundation, and a former board member and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee for Netball Australia Limited — experience that reinforces the pragmatic, in-house mindset he brings to every client relationship.
