Dongju Han

Dongju Han is a Director in the Business Advancement & Assurance division of Bentleys SA/NT. She is a seasoned Certified Internal Auditor and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt practitioner with 20 years of experience across Australian state, local and federal government sectors, as well as the not-for-profit sector. Her Australian experience is complemented by earlier international experience with two Big Four firms in China. She is the Director of Business Advancement and Assurance at Bentleys and serves as a Non-Executive Director on education sector boards.

Dongju has worked extensively across infrastructure, transport, health, education, forestry and community services, leading internal audits, governance reviews, enterprise risk assessments, compliance reviews and organisational improvement initiatives. She helps organisations strengthen accountability, enhance assurance arrangements, improve operational performance, and balance risk, compliance and business objectives. She is particularly passionate about helping organisations unlock the strategic value of information, improve data governance and harness emerging technologies.

As a trusted advisor to Boards, Audit and Risk Committees, and executive leaders, Dongju provides practical insights on governance, risk management, organisational accountability and regulatory compliance. She is recognised for translating complex governance and assurance requirements into pragmatic solutions that support better decision-making, improved performance and sustainable organisational outcomes.

Beyond her professional practice, Dongju actively contributes to the governance and assurance profession. She served as a Councillor for six years on the South Australian chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and has presented at the IIA SA Conference.
