Caroline Johnston

Caroline Johnston is a Director in the Kilmore/Woodend office, and a part of the Business Services division of McLean Delmo Bentleys.

Caroline is based in our Regional Practice located in the Macedon Ranges. Caroline brings over 30 years’ taxation experience into this role.

Caroline’s broad knowledge comes to the fore front with strengths ranging from primary producers, business start-ups, established businesses, including individuals, rental properties with various Capital Gains Tax (CGT) and related complexities through to deceased estates. Advising clients on navigating the complexities of our tax system has always been rewarding for Caroline.

Over the years, Caroline has held Board positions on community-led organisations and projects that form connections and give back to the community. Having lived in the area all her life Caroline understands the local businesses and industries.

Caroline works with small businesses to ensure start up procedures and obligations are met and understood by new business owners. She also assists with the implementation of systems for financial reporting and choosing the correct structure. Integration of regular tax planning then becomes a crucial exercise for clients.
