Ashley Carle

Ashley Carle is a Partner in the Audit & Assurance division of Bentleys Queensland.

Ashley has experience in external and internal audits across a wide range of industries and entities including publicly-listed companies, SMEs, mission based organisations, not-for-profit and aged care organisations, independent schools and public sector clients. She has expert technical skills relating to Australian Accounting Standards and what is required from an organisational perspective to ensure compliance with the standards.

Ashley’s exposure to a spectrum of businesses and industries gives her a sharp eye for detail and she is proactive in providing feedback to clients on control weaknesses and the corresponding improvements required to match best practice. For example, Ashley takes a lead role in reporting to Boards and Councils, and regularly advises on issues such as fixed asset registers. Ashley’s expert advice on identifying and valuing assets, ascertaining useful life span of assets, depreciation rates, and auditing of assets enables the creation and maintenance of registers that offer a reasonable basis on which to base carrying value of property, plant and equipment.

In addition to her audit experience, Ashley has also been involved in completing due diligence investigations for business acquisitions and investigating accountant reports for proposed capital raisings. Her business acumen is a key strength in her delivery of quality client solutions.
