McLean Delmo Bentleys Announces Two Senior Promotions

Jack Delmo promoted to Chief Executive Officer

We are thrilled to announce that Jack Delmo has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer. Jack was previously in the role of Chief Operating Officer.

The promotion affirms Jack’s leadership abilities demonstrated over the past two years and firm achievements that have been made during this time. McLean Delmo Bentleys has experienced significant expansion, including the opening of two regional offices in Woodend and Kilmore, Victoria.

David Taylor, Partner said in relation to the promotion: “As the firm continues to grow and evolve into an accounting and professional services firm of the future, Jack is well-positioned to lead the firm in the direction we wish to go.”

In response to the announcement Jack Delmo said: “I am extremely proud to be a part of this organisation and in a role that can make a difference. The firm has a long history spanning more than 50 years and I am looking forward to the challenges ahead as we continue to grow and evolve.”

Prior to his management roles at McLean Delmo Bentleys, Jack spent over two years working with the accounting firm Kreston Reeves in London, UK. During this time, he worked in the areas of Private Clients Tax and Corporate Finance.

Jack is CA qualified and has recently completed the Executive Leadership course, University of Melbourne Business School.

Ray Short promoted to Senior Partner

Another important announcement is the promotion of Ray Short to Senior Partner. Ray joined McLean Delmo Bentleys as Partner with previous Big 4 accounting experience.

Since joining McLean Delmo Bentleys, Ray has demonstrated leadership, both in his work with clients and with his team. He has also contributed to the firm’s strategy and growth through his participation in the leadership group.

Ray’s promotion to Senior Partner is testament to his achievements and contributions to the firm.
