We’re delighted to confirm that multi-award winning entrepreneur Bernadette Eriksen of Flavour Creations will be a part of the innovative and inspiring speaker line-up at The MktReady Incubator – programmed by Bentleys.
Bernadette Eriksen is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Flavour Creations, a Brisbane-based food manufacturing company that researches and develops innovative dysphagia and nutrition products intended to support a healthy lifestyle and improve the lives of thousands living with dysphagia. Flavour Creations supplies to hospitals, residential aged care facilities and directly to consumers living in the community – both in Australia and internationally.
What started out as an idea on Bernadette’s kitchen bench in the late 1990’s has become an international success story, after she discovered a gap in the market for providing food and drink solutions that not only taste great but offer maximum nutritional density and enhance the quality of life. Flavour Creations is now recognised as a global leader for innovation in the industry, producing more than 100,000 cups of pre-thickened liquid per day alongside a growing range of targeted food first nutritional solutions, employing over 100 staff locally and restoring dignity and independence to thousands of people all over the world.
At the 2017 Telstra Queensland Business Women’s Awards, Bernadette won the Telstra Queensland Business Woman of the Year Award and Entrepreneur Award. She was also named the Greater Brisbane Woman in Business of the Year Award 2017. In addition, Flavour Creations won the Queensland Urban Utilities Award for Product Innovation for its Dysphagia Cup at the 2017 Brisbane Lord Mayor’s Business Awards.
