Queensland Government 2021 COVID-19 Business Support Grants for lockdown-impacted businesses in Queensland – Applications open
Your business may be eligible for financial support through the Queensland Government’s 2021 COVID-19 Business Support Grants. Grants are available to businesses across Queensland affected by the COVID-19 lockdowns that commenced from July 2021.
These grants will provide cashflow support for businesses.
The 2021 COVID-19 Business Support Grants will provide grants to:
- employing small and medium businesses and not-for-profit organisations across Queensland impacted by recent lockdowns; and
- large sized tourism and hospitality focused businesses and not-for-profit organisations operating in the local government areas impacted by lockdown
Eligibilty criteria applies.

Federal Government COVID-19 Disaster Payment – Queensland
In Queensland, you and/or your employee/s may be eligible for individual and family financial support from the COVID-19 Disaster Payment.
This lump-sum payment offers financial support for people who lost work and income due to a Queensland COVID-19 public health order in a current hotspot.
A hotspot is an area of COVID-19 local transmission declared by the Chief Medical Officer. The Department of Health website lists the current hotspots.
The type of payment you may be able to get depends on whether or not you receive an eligible Centrelink payment.
Individuals need to apply online.
