About the opportunity 

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to join the Business Advancement and Assurance (BAA) team. BAA consists of the thinking leaders, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt business improvement practitioners, risk management and business resilience experts, project managers, and exceptional analytical and quantitative problem solvers.    

As the Senior Consultant – Business Advancement and Assurance you will provide internal audit and assurance services to clients across a diverse range of industries.  You will plan, lead and deliver a variety of projects, manage business process improvement initiatives and provide complex advice, while developing and maintaining client relationships at the highest level.  And you will also be the go-to person for our developing consultants.

About You:

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate extensive and proven experience in the following:

  • Leading and managing end-to-end internal audit projects (financial, operational, compliance and performance audits) or other related tasks, within budget, timeline and to exceptional quality.
  • Managing a varied portfolio of internal and external clients, across a range of industry sectors, with a focus on risk, controls and assurance
  • Supervising and undertaking fieldwork – preparing high quality written reports, adhering to budgets and timelines.
  • Understand and apply the firm’s professional delivery standards to deliver high quality, insightful advice and exceptional client service.
  • Assist with the continuous improvement of current practice processes, tools and methodologies.
  • Assist in the growth and business development of the practice while working with Partners / Directors and other service lines across the broader Bentleys team.
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship engagement and management with demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence and negotiate. 

This position would suit an experienced Senior Internal Auditor with strong business analytical capabilities.

You will have a relevant tertiary qualification in business / finance / commerce / management or similar.  

Even better if you have experience working in a professional service firm, have some capability in ICT networks or Cyber Security and are familiar with common data visualisation tools and working with large datasets.  But these aren’t essential.
