We have a fantastic opportunity for an energetic People & Culture Lead/Specialist to join our youthful and vibrant Corporate Services team with the purpose of building a Great Place to Work.

This truly generalist and impactful role will see you partner with delivery teams across the firm in a fast-paced environment, to shape the future of the firm in its next phase of growth. You will work under the advice and guidance of the People & Culture Director while you partner with the business to deliver exceptional service. Your role in shaping the future of the firm

Strategically, you will:

  • Contribute to the crafting of the People & Culture 2025 strategy to fuel people growth within the firm
  • Co-design and continuously improve the firm’s talent acquisition strategy
  • Drive the successful implementation of our Digital Employee Experience Platform – a globally renowned HRIS
  • Craft and roll out the v2.0 of the firms digitally-enabled performance management system
  • Craft, roll out and continuously improve the firm’s L&D and leadership development strategy
  • Design a holistic competency framework for all job levels
  • Support the translation of our core values to key behaviors and ways of working

Tactically, your role will include:

  • Partner with our university partners to deliver an exceptional grad program
  • Drive proactive talent acquisition through LinkedIn and Seek
  • Co-ordination with external partners – recruiters, L&D, Payroll etc.
  • Design and facilitate workshops/sessions with delivery teams to deliver intended outcomes
  • Data analysis and visualization of P&C related data for Board presentations
  • Drive effective change management for the adoption of P&C initiatives within the firm
  • Continuously improve and deliver an engaging onboarding program for new talents
  • Assist to roll-out key initiatives for our Health & Wellness strategy and other projects
  • Guide, coach, direct and influence leaders to achieve the best outcomes for our people and business
  • Conduct regular informal conversations and surveys to assess employee satisfaction and identify areas for improvement
  • Benchmark salaries and non-financial benefits in the industry
  • Be a gatekeeper for the P&C Director and COO

Operationally, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collating technical and culture feedback and communicating that to leaders and candidates
  • Issuing digital contracts through our digital HRIS system
  • Driving and scheduling onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Tracking overall employee relations
  • Serve as a go-to resource for employee concerns and queries, fostering open communication
  • Creating new fit-for-purpose policies and managing the data integrity of all employee records

What do you need to be successful?

Must haves:

  • Infectious energy – Exude enthusiasm and calm under pressure or in difficult conversations
  • Demonstrated experience of leading by serving others
  • Lead by curiosity and having a hunger to learn and drive your own actions by soliciting feedback
  • Disciplined approach towards honing your craft
  • Derive pleasure in designing systems and processes that add value rather than exert control

Experience and skills required:

  • 6+ years of experience as an HR generalist, or a related role
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR technology tools essential
  • Familiarity with software implementation projects and the ability to drive successful adoption
  • Strong data analysis skills and the ability to derive insights for informed decision-making

The “brownie” points

  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance, payroll, legislation, and best practices in AU
  • Experience in professional services
  • Skill in training program design and delivery to enhance employee development
  • Member of AHRI or any other global network
  • Design skills in Canva to make content more inspiring
