About the opportunity

We are seeking Graduate Accountants to join our growing team.

Your reliable financial management and technical abilities and coupled with a highly driven and collaborative style will set you apart as an ideal candidate for this position.
You will have a strong client-centric approach and gain exposure across a broad range of financial strategies for a large portfolio of clients.
Your Key Responsibilities (not limited to): 
  • Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for medium to large businesses including companies, trusts and partnerships.
  • Prepare and/ or review work papers and checklists to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Monitoring / reviewing / discussing with clients their compliance requirements for Income Tax, GST, Activity Statements, Instalment Activity Statements
What you will need to succeed

You are a team player and problem-solver with the ability to communicate effectively. With your technical knowledge and skills and a strong client focus, you will ensure your service is tailored to meet our different client’s needs.

You will also possess the following:

  • Drivers licence
  • Police clearance
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting / accounting-related degree in business / commerce or similar
  • Basic knowledge of Accounting Standards, Income Tax, GST and relevant Acts and legislation (desirable)
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook (essential)
  • Background / association with and/ or a passion for agriculture (desirable)
  • Possess full working rights
