About the Opportunity

Reporting to the CEO, an opportunity exists for an experienced and highly skilled Finance Manager, to join Bentleys as part of the Executive Corporate Services team. The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Prepare financial reports, analysis, and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Manage the full cycle, end-to-end payroll process and administration.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Conduct financial risk assessments and recommend strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and drive process improvements.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure adherence to best practices and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development

Key Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
  • CPA or CA certification preferred
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a finance management role, preferably within a professional services firm or corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of AASB and statutory reporting obligations, accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of driving results and managing teams.
  • Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
