Tracy is an insolvency, business turnaround and advisory specialist and Registered Liquidator. She has experience in diverse industries including commercial and residential developments, health and aged care, tourism, retail, hospitality and gaming, mining, manufacturing, transport, rural businesses and accommodation. Her work across the broad spectrum of business types and structures has equipped her with strong business acumen and business operations know-how.

Tracy has led many formal and informal appointments, including Receivership engagements with top-tier banks and financiers, as well as business reviews and Investigative Accountant’s Reports.

Tracy’s earlier career experience with the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) ensures that her professional advisory skills are underpinned by a meticulous understanding of regulatory matters, legislation, policies and procedures.  She provides stakeholders with the confidence and assurance they need to make informed, timely decisions.

Tracy’s experience includes:

Landmark Liquidation:  Octaviar Administration and Octaviar Limited

  • Major financial services group | $210M reconveyed to estate creditors | $55+M dividends paid to unsecured creditors | Full payment of all employee claims | Sale of 45 childcare properties | Recovery of significant related entity and intercompany loans.

Voluntary Administration:  Skytrans Regional Airlines

  • Precedented the application of a creditors’ trust to preserve an Air Operating Certificate (AOC) – making this the first AOC to withstand an external administration  |  Skytrans went on to be acquired by aviation entrepreneur, Peter Collings, and NRL Legend, Johnathan Thurston.

Liquidation: Peter Drake – Gold Coast executive of publicly listed company 

  • Appointed by ASIC as court appointed Receiver of the personal assets of a key executive.

Statutory Trustee Appointment: Significant commercial asset

  • Complex negotiations | Contract for sale in excess of market value executed within six months.

Review Engagement: Retirement village

  • Organisation with $10M turnover and $80M assets | Operational and funding review identified misaligned pricing models and inadequate reporting infrastructure.
