With more than 25 years of professional experience as an insolvency practitioner and business advisor, Robert has extensive experience in managing, restructuring, valuing and selling businesses and their underlying entities.

Robert joined the Bentleys Tasmania Corporate Recovery team in 2016, following 18 years of managing his own multi-disciplinary practice in Hobart, Tasmania. Robert’s practice, most recently known as Tenuto Financial, provided tax, business advisory, financial and estate planning and insolvency services to a vast range of individual and business clients across many structures and industries. Prior to commencing his own firm, Robert became a partner at Deloitte, Hobart, in 1995, after it merged with Cox Miller and Robertson where he had been a partner for 8 years.

In his current role at Bentleys Tasmania, Robert is focused on delivering services that rely on his expertise in the areas of insolvency and restructuring. These services include providing specialist insolvency advice, preparing Investigative Accountants reports and conducting both formal and informal insolvency engagements. Robert has been the sole appointee for a number of corporate insolvency administrations, including receiverships, liquidations, voluntary administrations, deeds of company arrangement and schemes of arrangement. Robert also has extensive experience as a Bankruptcy Trustee. Robert is also a member of the American Institute of Fraud Examiners.
