Nicole is a member of the Taxation Consulting division, having previously worked in Business Advisory Services. Nicole joined Bentleys in 2007 and has completed her Masters of Applied Taxation through the University of New South Wales.
Nicole’s experience in these divisions has allowed her to develop a broad knowledge of general compliance matters as well as specific tax-related issues. Nicole currently provides tax advice to clients spanning a diverse range of industries and business types including professional firms, property and construction, SME businesses and high net-wealth family groups.
She also has extensive experience working with private fund managers, including ASX listed organisations.
Nicole has specialist skills including corporate and SME income tax, funds administration and compliance, tax effect accounting, goods and services tax, fringe benefits tax, structuring and tax minimization strategies.
As well as working with her own clients, Nicole also assists in the provision of specialist taxation advice to the other internal divisions within Bentleys including tax matters arising from liquidations and receiverships.
Nicole’s major projects include:
- Tax due diligence for corporate acquisitions
- Tax consolidation implementation for the acquisition of corporate groups
- GST policy and processes review
- Capital gains tax advice for significant asset sales
- Liaison with the ATO during review/audit activities
