Margaret has extensive experience working with a wide range of small businesses and professionals. Margaret commenced work with Bentleys in the Business Services division in 1983 and was appointed a manager of the firm in 1989.

Margaret has extensive knowledge of Taxation Law and has worked with businesses in various industries including, medical and other professionals, retail and primary production.

Margaret has also been involved with restructuring business operations and family rearrangements.

Margaret is fully trained to develop individual GST programs for businesses, advise on GST issues and ensure that each business’ GST Compliance programs are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.

Margaret is the past treasurer of the Pharmacists Board of Queensland, a position she held for three years during her six-year appointment to the board.

Margaret’s major projects include:

  • Business and tax advisory to family-owned businesses and entities, including structuring advisory and preparation of business valuations.
  • Administration of self-managed superannuation funds with significant investment portfolios, diverse asset classes, instalment warrants and exempt pension components
  • Preparation of cash flow forecasting and budgeting for clients.
