Bankruptcy Legislation Amendments

Amendments to  Bankruptcy Regulations will introduce changes to legislation, including changes to the offences provisions in the Bankruptcy Act 1966.

Rural Sector moves deeper into debt

A survey conducted by the Queensland Rural Adjustment Authority (QRAA) has revealed that farm-based debt has reached $15 billion.

QRAA chief executive Colin Holden says drought and increased investment appear to be the main drivers.

Business payments above pre-crisis levels

The latest business-to-business payment figures by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) show business-to-business payments are currently exceeding the standard 30 day term by more than three weeks and remain above pre-crisis levels.
