Major Projects:

  • Key Analyst and Project Leader - Benchmarking
  • This project entailed a review of the existing business operations of a childcare centre against Industry benchmarks.  This identified areas for improvement and combined with understanding the operational drivers of the business, allowed us to advise on strategies to improve the profitability of the business.
  • Key Analyst - Business Restructuring
  • This assignment was for a resort operator who wanted to change the use of the property to a retirement village and then sell the business.  We outlined the tax implications of doing this, including GST and income tax, the structuring of the resident agreement for the village and the subsequent sale of the business using capital gains tax concessions.
  • Key Analyst and Project Leader – Three Way Cashflow Forecast Model
  • This project assessed the viability of expanding an existing aged care and retirement village operation to include an additional facility and retirement villas.  The model was built from the company’s operational drivers and analysed using various financial ratios.  The results were presented to the Board of Directors.
  • Key Analyst and Project Leader – Pre Lend Review
  • This assignment entailed a review of a consolidated group of gymnasiums three way cashflow forecast model, and to understand the cashflow effects of acquiring over 30 additional gymnasiums, whilst continuing to meet with the Financial Institutions financial ratios.
  • Key Analyst and Project Leader – Due Diligence
  • This due diligence was for an acquisition of a childcare centre management company.  The assignment involved reporting on the company’s financial information including a review of a cashflow forecast model for the acquisition for over 50 childcare centres.
